I started my business in Milwaukee during my last semester of college in 2019. After launching in just one day I had over 100 orders of my very first flavor 3 o’clock coffee. This led me to pitching at Brewed Ideas Challenge, a competition modeled after Shark Tank— where I came in first winning $7,500 to put toward my business.
From there I built my own 24 flavor menu and started selling wholesale to multiple locations, catered at a variety of events and had individual pop-ups around the city. Day to day I was making, creating, branding, marketing, advertising, managing and delivering my homemade ice cream. Liv a Little is a perfect example of my self-discipline, drive and ability to bring a big idea to life.
My company sparked interest throughout the Midwest. Local investors valued Liv a Little Ice Cream at 1 million dollars after the first year of business. Since then I have attended the famous Ice Cream Short Course out in Penn State, where I learned the ins and outs of all things ice cream science & business. I also recently trademarked both my company name and my most popular flavor name, Warm Hugs! This is just the beginning—
