As the Senior Social Media Content Specialist, I play a key role in helping drive the company’s goals through engaging social media content. I handle everything from strategy to execution across platforms like Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more for OtterBox. My day-to-day includes capturing footage at internal and external events, working with influencers and brand ambassadors, and collaborating with both in-house and external creative teams to create content that fits our brand and goals. With my deep knowledge of social media trends and optimization, I’m passionate about making sure everything we create is fresh, engaging, and aligned with our overall brand vision. In short, I serve as the Social Art Director for our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and curate content for the social media calendar, aligning with brand goals and product launches.
- Capture and edit daily content (photos, videos, graphics, Stories, GIFs) for social platforms.
- Research and pitch new creative ideas for Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
- Work with the Social team to manage timelines, clarify needs, and troubleshoot issues.
- Help plan and execute social media strategies and campaigns.
- Produce social content (including videos) based on brand objectives and trends.
- Create shot lists for internal and external production shoots/events to capture content that aligns with larger marketing strategy.
- Develop strategic social content plans to support brand campaigns.
- Assist with social commerce content strategies.
- Keep up with social media trends and incorporate them into content.
- Track and analyze KPIs like engagement and reach to measure campaign success.
- Maintain content libraries and social media tool kits.

I was part of the internal OtterBox team that brought our new brand campaign to life in collaboration with our agency partner, Digitas. I led all social media efforts for the campaign—from concept development and art direction to on-set photography, editing, and publishing. I also supported the art direction of key product moments featured in both the 30- and 60-second spots of the broader campaign.
